Load Delivered's Mobile App, Solutions for a Seafood Giant & more...

Increasing Supply Chain Efficiency with Mobile App

As mobile communications continue to evolve in B2B commerce, Load Delivered is dedicated to technological innovation and development.  We understand the benefits of increasing efficiencies through mobile technology, which is why we have developed Load Delivered Logistics’ Load Finder – our mobile app that allows compliant carriers to view and bid on available freight from the palm of their hands.

Available for both iPhone and iPad users free of charge, the new app provides our compliant carrier partners the ability to view and bid on available freight with the simple push of a button. Carriers can search for shipments by using a variety of criteria, including current location, desired location, radius, date or equipment type. Additionally, Load Finder users can create a favorite list to make searching for repeat lanes convenient, and bid directly from a smartphone device via email or by placing a call.

“Our carriers talked, and we listened,” says Robert Nathan, CEO at Load Delivered Logistics. “The app was created using their feedback and insight to ensure we were keeping them connected in this ever-changing industry.”

Load Delivered has been working hand-in-hand with its carrier network since the company’s inception, and creating the Load Finder app was the next logical step in advanced technology. Our desire has always been to make the process of working with Load Delivered convenient and efficient, and we believe the new mobile app will do just that.

Load Delivered’s Load Finder mobile application is now available for download free of charge on iTunes or at loaddelivered.com/mobile for all iPhone and iPad users.

Case Study: Shipping Solutions for Seafood Giant, Mazzetta Company

In the beginning of 2008, Load Delivered began working with Mazzetta, one of the world’s leading suppliers of premium seafood. At the start of our relationship with this seafood giant, we only covered a small fraction of Mazzetta’s total weekly shipments – trust had to be earned. Fast forward to the present day, and Load Delivered is now handling 90-95% of the company’s refrigerated truckloads, completing dozens of shipments every week that include an array of dedicated lanes.

If you ask Jim Keating why Mazzetta now trusts Load Delivered with the bulk of their company’s shipping needs, he will say that it basically comes down to reliability and customer service. Keating observed our dedication and commitment to our clients across the board, as well as our ability to find successful ways to solve specific challenges unique to each individual shipment we handle.

When working with a company like Mazzetta, missing a delivery appointment could lead to rejected product or contaminated seafood, which equates to large financial losses and dissatisfied clients. Using a team of skilled personnel and the best technology available, Load Delivered crafts creative solutions for each individual shipping request. With a focus on high-valued freight, adherence to the difficulties when facing critical deliveries, transparency, on-time performance and more, Load Delivered Logistics has created a successful relationship with Mazzetta.

To highlight the partnership we have earned with Mazzetta, we composed a case study that demonstrates the issues presented when dealing with sensitive freight, and how Load Delivered tackled each issue head on. From flexibility to solving problems before they occur, download Mazzetta Case Study.pdf  to see why Load Delivered Logistics is now the go-to shipping source for Mazzetta.

“Your shipping provider can be your worst enemy or your best asset,” says Keating. “You don’t give as much of your freight to one company as Mazzetta does to Load Delivered unless you know they are completely reliable. The trust that we’ve built is tremendously strong. They’re the first people we call when we need something shipped.”

Plunging for a Good Cause

Whether rain, shine, snow or blistering cold, Load Delivered team members aren’t afraid to take the plunge for a good cause and we are proud to support them.
