We've Moved!

The last three quarters at Load Delivered have been, in a word, dynamic. After a meticulous 13-month search to find the perfect location for our corporate headquarters, we selected a space in downtown Chicago’s newly acclaimed “Technology Corridor.” Located at 750 N. Orleans, the Load Delivered Loft fits right in with our new state-of-the-art logistics center and advanced technology equipment to help make business run better than ever.

We've Grown!

In the last eight months, we’ve relocated headquarters, increased our workforce by 25 percent and added next-level technologies to our website, process and equipment. So, what does all this mean for you?

Giving Back & Going Green

As we continue to grow, so does our responsibility to foster a positive social and sustainable impact on the community and environment.  Here’s what we’ve been up to when it comes to giving back and going green.

Chicago Fire Fighters Run for the Kids 5K

Load Delivered kicked off the summer by supporting the 2011 Chicago Fire Fighters Run for the Kids 5K, in which 21 of our employees participated.  Proceeds of the fundraiser went to foundations and organizations dedicated to helping young children who are living and coping with a terminal illness or injury.  The event was a success and we look forward to many more races benefiting children and the community in the upcoming months!

Friends of Wentworth: School Beautification Day

At Load Delivered, we believe education is the key to success. That’s why we were thrilled to get involved with the Friends of Wentworth: School Beautification Day. For this important event, members of our team visited D.S. Wentworth to help school administrators prepare for the school’s first day of class: We rolled-up our sleeves and set up computers that we had also donated, and even put our artistic skills to use by painting wall murals. Teachers and students of this Chicago Public School located on the Southside were able to start their school year with freshly painted halls and a fully functional computer lab.

Green Initiatives

As a member of the SmartWay Transport Partnership since 2010, we are not strangers to doing our part in protecting the environment. 

• We help improve fuel efficiency by utilizing more carbon-conscious carriers and reducing empty hauls. 
• Here in our new loft, Recycling Services (RS) provides a state-of-the art operation that covers all our office recycling needs by collecting and consolidating our waste material. 
• Through RS, we examine reporting tools that help us track our carbon footprint, reach goals and assist in office LEED certification. 
• Thanks to our recent purchase of an Environmental Futures water cooler, our office has eliminated the need and use of bottled water. 

For Load Delivered, no green initiative is too large or small in our ongoing commitment to becoming environmentally conscious.
